First Northstar units go live on Viasea containers
Mounted at Oslo Havn after months of mapping Viasea's workflows, the first sensors are now on their way around the world.
A big day for Balder, our first units are officially out in the world!
Together with our pilot customer Viasea Shipping, we've spent time mapping their operational needs, understanding their workflows, and shaping what a truly valuable container-tracking solution should look like. Their insight has been instrumental in helping us build our first prototype.
And this week, it finally happened: we went down to Oslo Havn KF and mounted the very first Balder units onto Viasea containers. After a quick and smooth installation, the first sensors are now on their way to different parts of the world.
From here, the learning really begins. We'll be gathering data, validating our assumptions, improving the product, and continuing to build this solution together with the people who will use it every day.
